Worldline Partners With Bank Of India To Digitize Payment Collection Services For Madhya Pradesh Police and Panvel Municipal Corporation

Worldline, a global leader and preferred name in the payment services industry, has recently partnered with Bank of India to help Madhya Pradesh Police to digitize its e-challan collection and Panvel Municipal Corporation digitize its citizen-centric services.

On May 10th, 2022, Shri. G. Janardhan, ADG, PTRI, MP Police, Govt. of India and Shri Lokesh Krishna, GM, Bank of India in Bhopal, signed a Memorandum of Association. Gulshan Pruthi, Executive Vice President, Worldline India, represented the company as a digital payment partner.


The Bank of India gave 600 Worldline Android Terminals to the MP Police for the digital e-challan collection. Residents can pay using debit/ credit cards, and the MP police can accept online payments for Challans.

The cash dependency will reduce with the POS terminals integrated with the e-challan portal. Shri G. Janardhan, ADG, PTRI, PHQ, MP Police Department, Government of India, said that all the collections could be comprehensively monitored, bringing fair play into the system.

Similarly on May 26th, 2022, Shri Anil Jadhav, Zonal Manager, Bank of India and Shri Gulshan Pruthi, EVP, Worldline, tendered SHRI. GANESH DESHMUKH, PANVEL MUNICIPAL COMMISSIONER with Bank of India Android POS Terminal to launch e-collection services.


This new development will help the citizens of PMC use their debit/ credit cards to pay for services such as death/ birth certificate registration, assessment fee, municipal fines and taxes etc.

The Digital Payment Services led by the Bank of India will drive the citizens and staff of PMC towards a more convenient and automated process by avoiding hassle-free manual processes.

The e-challan collection and e-collection services initiative by the MP Police Department and Panvel Corporation is a step towards the Digital India mission.
